Kate Watt
Chief Development Officer

Kate Watt is a recognized nonprofit executive with more than two decades of experience building revenue strategies, scaling development programs and leading high-performing teams in support of mission-driven organizations.
Kate most recently served as Senior Vice President of Community Development at Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, where she led a comprehensive national development portfolio spanning individual giving, major and planned gifts, peer-to-peer fundraising, signature events, foundations and market-based revenue. As a senior leader, she brought together fundraising strategy, community engagement and mission delivery to accelerate growth and deepen impact.
Throughout her career, Kate has built and transformed fundraising programs, developed new revenue opportunities, strengthened donor and volunteer engagement and led teams through significant organizational growth and change. During her tenure at Komen, she also served as Regional Vice President and Executive Director for Komen Florida, where she helped lead the transition to a unified statewide affiliate.
Prior to joining Komen, Kate served as Chief Development Officer for the Urban League of Palm Beach County. She is also a longtime member of the Junior League and previously served as Chair of its State Public Affairs Committee, helping lead advocacy efforts representing more than 11,000 women across Florida.
Kate holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
