Mission and goals of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance
The Colorectal Cancer Alliance exists to end this disease in our lifetime. We advocate for screening, magnify support, and accelerate research.
We have one mission
We exist to end colorectal cancer in our lifetime. As the largest nonprofit dedicated to this disease, we empower a nation of allies who are overcoming colorectal cancer in their lives and communities.
Our goals
Raise the screening rate to 80% and save 100,000 lives
We believe screening is the No. 1 way to stop this disease or catch it early.
Improve the five-year survival rate of mCRC from 13% to 35%
We believe expert navigation, patient education, and barrier reduction are critical.
Invest and influence $500 million in CRC research
We believe in urgent innovation for today's patients.
Always with an eye on equity
Inequities in colorectal cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment among the most vulnerable communities continue to persist. Our programs are designed to put health equity first.
