A tool used primarily to detect cancer and precancerous growths by checking stool samples for abnormal RNA shed by tumor cells.

Blood

A blood-based screening method that checks for DNA fragments shed by tumors or large polyps in the colon or rectum with a lower sensitivity than other tests. (Recommended only for patients who decline all other tests.)
